Downtown Waterville Holiday Open House - Saturday, December 7, 2013
Downtown Waterville will be hosting their annual Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 7. Many special holiday activities will be held at the businesses throughout the downtown area. This is a family event to welcome in the holiday season. Join the fun and support Waterville small businesses! Below is a list of some of the exciting holiday activities planned for the day:

Free portraits with Santa - We are planning to post all images to Facebook and everyone can download their images right from there.
Clayful Art - 26 N. 3rd St.
Beginning Nov 1st Clayful Art Paint your own Pottery studio will host an ornament contest for children age 5-13yrs. All ornaments will be judged and placed on display Dec. 7th.The winners will receive a prize basket containing gift certificates from downtown Waterville businesses. Kids can enter a coloring contest and receive a free silver Dollar pancake breakfast (beverage not included), dine in only. A gift card will be given to the winner. Be sure to include name, phone number and age on coloring sheet.

Secret Santa shopping area for children, sales throughout the shop and refreshments as well.

Mettler Studios LLC will be hosting Holiday Quick Pics that day from 9am-Noon & 1pm-5 pm. Holiday Quick Pics include a quick photo session at the studio to create images that will be designed into your very own personalized photo holiday greeting cards to send to those you love this holiday season. You choose your holiday card design & personalization (5 designs to choose from - all double sided), sit for an indoor shoot in front of a holiday inspired background, snack on some sweet holiday treats, and get 25 personalized photo greeting cards (with return addressed envelopes - yay!) all for $85.00. Smoke and Fire Co. will be hosting some of their craftsmen: Stan Zelasko, a well-known leather worker will be demonstrating the art of making shooting pouches and powder horns. Peg Francisco will have a display of Native American Great Lakes Trade Silver that she has made. Tony Richici will have on display and for sale his early American tin ware and lanterns. Smoke and Fire owner, Donlyn Meyers, will have a special display of her newest paintings.
