Join Heartland of Waterville Health Care and Rehabilitation Center for a free lunch and learn event at 12 p.m., October 23 at 8885 Browning Drive, Waterville.
This month’s event, which includes a complimentary luncheon, will focus on the right and wrong ways to transfer resources, such as homes, cars, cash, life insurance and holdings, when applying for Medicaid in Ohio.
Heartland’s Medicaid Specialist, Desiree Staifer, will highlight the right path to a successful Medicaid application and will answer questions about what can be kept, gifted, donated or reallocated. Desiree has worked with scores of families applying for Medicaid in Heartland facilities and has years of expertise in consulting on Medicaid issues.
